Danielle Hughes!
A Passionate Entrepreneur and Community Advocate
Hi there! I’m Danielle Hughes—serial entrepreneur, author, philanthropist, and youth development advocate. My passion for empowering others began early, as I was inspired by my experiences growing up in Detroit. After earning my degree from Georgia State University, I set out to be the role model I once needed, dedicating my life to uplifting our community’s youth.
In 2016, I co-founded Detroit Speaks, a nonprofit committed to helping low-income teens build social awareness, engage with their communities, and develop personal and professional success. Seeing the impact we made, I was honored to be named to Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list in 2018.
Driven to keep making a difference, I joined the Future Foundation as a Dream Director. In this role, I helped ignite passion, possibility, and purpose in young people across Detroit Public Schools.
In 2021, I brought all these experiences together to co-found The Pose Experience—a mobile selfie boutique designed to create joyful, memorable moments. This venture reflects my love for community and entrepreneurship, and I’m thrilled to share this journey with you!
